Memphis and his fellow Dutch icons arrived in Ghana in the early hours of Wednesday, June 15, for their holidays after a long season.
The 28-year-old has made it a ritual to visit Ghana to reconnect to his roots and undertake charity work in the past few years.
His customary holidays in the country have gained more traction this year following Memphis' decision to convince Davids and Promes to join him on his summer vacation.
In photos posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, Memphis and his entourage, featuring ex-footballers and actors, were captured having a great time during holidays in the West African nation.
Dutch forward Memphis Depay may not be playing for the country of birth as a professional footballer, but his love for Ghana continues to grow.
Depay was born in Moordrecht in 1994 to a Ghanaian father, Dennis Depay, and a Dutch mother, Cora Schensema.
He grew up in the Netherlands as a child and decided to represent the Oranje internationally.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Memphis Depay turned down an approach by the Ghana Football Association to have him named in the Black Stars squad due to his father.
The Barcelona attacker was born to a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother; thus the 28-year-old was eligible to play for the Black Stars.
But Depay, who has Ghanaian dual citizenship, Ghana and the Netherlands, chose to represent the European powerhouse, the country of his birth.
