Conor McGregor has been letting his hair down at a wild party for his childhood friend's wedding in Ibiza just a week after earning £100million in a fight with Floyd Mayweather.

But he still has one very visible reminder from his defeat in the form of a shiny black eye which he was unable to cover up for a friend's big day.

The fight didn't end quite as he would have liked but he has wasted no time in kicking back with a fun trip to the Balearic islands.

His long-standing pal Tom Devitt got married yesterday and it looked like the 29-year-old made the most of the celebration in the Mediterranean sun.

After his 10th-round stoppage against Mayweather, he spoke of his plans to hire a 100 foot yacht for his childhood friend's wedding.

At his side this weekend was his long-term partner and mother of his child Dee Devlin. McGregor's mother, Margaret, also attended the wedding.

Clearly enjoying the loved-up spirit of his friend's special day, he posted a touching message to Instagram alongside a picture of the happy couple.

He wrote: 'Some buzz watching two childhood friends get married in Ibiza. Congrats Tom and Emma, absolutely delighted for you both. Bring on today's party, oh yes!'

Having never boxed professionally before, McGregor took on unbeaten former world champion Mayweather in a fight surrounded by months of hype

A speck of a recovering bruise was still visible underneath McGregor's left eye as he celebrated with friends and family at the wedding

McGregor appeared to be in good spirits as he chatted with the wedding party and celebrated with friends at the event in Ibiza

And it seemed as though he enjoyed the party as he was pictured throwing shapes on the dancefloor and enjoying drinks with friends.

But while he is away it is thought the Irishman will be pondering his next career move. So far the MMA star has remained tight-lipped.

Conor McGregor has had a meteoric rise from the streets of Dublin to become a sporting superstar.

And part of his success he puts down to his girlfriend. The pair have been together for almost a decade.

Earlier this year they became parents for the first time when Dee gave birth to Conor Jr.

Dee Devlin has shared an adorable family photo following her partner's Conor McGregor's boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.

The Notorious lost the Las Vegas bout after the referee ruled that Mayweather had done enough damage to the fighter.

Dee shared a picture on Instagram of her with McGregor, his sisters Aoife and Erin, mother Margaret, father Tony and son Conor Jr with a love heart as the caption.

Other guests that also looked smart, with one woman donning a floral gown and another in a red halter dress, while one man opted for a tan linen suit and another dressed in navy.
