DJs are most important people in our lives, not pundits and people - Shatta Wale

Multiple award winning Reggae/Dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. also known by his stage name Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana, has indicated that DJs are most important people in our lives.

During an interview with WatsUpTV, The King of the Shatta Movement (SM) fan base, stated that every artistes need to support Ghana DJs. At the 11th Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, which was held at the Grand Arena at the Accra International Conference Centre, Shatta Wale satisfied fans with an electrifying performance.

The presence of the "Melissa" hit-maker on the stage changed the atmosphere as fans danced and sang along to every song he performed.

The dancehall singer further prayed for all disc jockeys in Ghana and beyond. "God bless all DJs; May God help all DJs to continue to promote Ghanaian music to the world; May God bless them to make more money...Amen."
